North Korea moves missiles to east coast

North Korea has moved two short-range missile launchers to its east coast , apparently indicating it is going ahead with preparations for a test launch, a South Korean news agency reported. Seoul and its allies have been expecting some sort of missile launch during weeks of heightened hostility on the Korean peninsula. An unidentified South Korean military source told the Yonhap news agency that satellite imagery showed two mobile launchers for short-range Scud missiles had been moved to South Hamgyeong province. "The military is closely watching the North's latest preparations for a missile launch," the source said.

Obama says N. Korea isn’t capable of mounting a nuclear warhead

US president hoping for a diplomatic solution to the tensions on the Korean peninsula

US President Obama expressed hopes for a diplomatic solution to the tensions on the Korean peninsula, saying that he does not believe North Korea has the capacity to load a nuclear warhead onto a long-range missile.

President Obama hinted that if North Korea ends its provocative actions, dialogue could begin. “All of us would anticipate that North Korea will probably make more provocative moves over the next several weeks,” he said. “But our hope is, is that we can contain it and that we can move into a different phase in which they try to work through diplomatically some of these issues, so that they can get back on a path where they‘re actually feeding their people.”

Ezekiel 38 Coming to pass?

In light of the escalating conflict with Iran we remember the words of Ezekiel the prophet:

Ezekiel 38:4-6  (KJV) And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords: 5 Persia (Iran), Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet: 6 Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.

Does Gomer Refer To Germany? Q. You have the best site on the internet and I read all your articles on prophecy, Your knowledge of the word is very interesting. Recently our church invited a Rabbi who is born again to speak, and His choice of scripture was Ezekiel 38 and 39 . What I found odd was he said that Gomer refers to modern day Germany. I’ve read in your articles and many others where Gomer is referred to modern day Turkey. Now I’m confused. Which is most likely?

 A. According to my research, Gomer inhabited the Rhine and Danube valleys. These are giant rivers that criss-cross all of Europe today, including Germany. Based on current events, I’ve leaned more toward Eastern Europe when thinking of Gomer in Ezekiel 38 because I believe the common denominator there is religion, specifically Islam, which is more prevalent in Eastern Europe. I believe the Turkic people are descended from Togarmah, who was a son of Gomer’s but didn’t follow him into what is now Europe. Gomer’s brothers Meshech and Tubal are linked to Cappodocia and complete the reference to modern Turkey.

Destruction of Gog with His Great Army of Nations -

Ezekiel 38 and 39 Gog, in the land of Magog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, will invade the restored land of Israel from the far distant northern land by the appointment of God in the last times, and with a powerful army of numerous nations (Ezekiel 38:1-9), with the intention of plundering Israel, now dwelling in security, that the Lord may sanctify Himself upon him before all the world (Ezekiel 38:10-16). But when Gog, of whom earlier prophets have already prophesied, shall fall upon Israel, he is to be destroyed by a wrathful judgment from the Lord, that the nations may know that God is the Lord (Ezekiel 38:17-23). On the mountains of Israel will Gog with all his hosts and nations succumb to the judgment of God (Ezekiel 39:1-8).
The inhabitants of the cities of Israel will spend seven years in burning the weapons of the fallen foe, and seven months in burying the corpses in a valley, which will receive its name from this, so as to purify the land (Ezekiel 38:9-16); whilst in the meantime all the birds and wild beasts will satiate themselves with the flesh and blood of the fallen (Ezekiel 38:17-20). By this judgment will all the nations as well as Israel know that it was on account of its sins that the Lord formerly gave up Israel into the power of the heathen, but that now He will no more forsake His redeemed people, because He has poured out His Spirit upon it (Ezekiel 38:21 -29).

Iran official: Israel too small to threaten Iran

Iran’s army “alone” is able to destroy Israel, army commander General Ataollah Salehi said on Thursday, responding to boasts by the Jewish state that its military could attack its arch foe on its own. “Our message to this illegitimate regime (Israel) is the same, we do not need to utilize all of Iran’s military forces,” Salehi said on the sidelines of the Islamic Republic’s annual Army Day. “The army ... alone is able to destroy Israel.”

AMERICA PLANS TO BEND KNEE BEFORE GOD

And in the spirit that prompted President Truman in 1952 to establish a National Day of Prayer and President Reagan in 1988 to designate it as the first Thursday in May, Americans across the fruited plain will participate together again on May 2, 2013, in the annual National Day of Prayer. “As our nation struggles with continued economic insecurity, vast health-care reform and countless challenges to our constitutional rights, citizens of the United States are preparing to exercise their freedom to gather, worship and pray,” announces the National Day of Prayer Task Force on the event’s official website.

“Millions will answer the call to prayer on May 2nd in observance of the 62nd annual National Day of Prayer. Organized events will be held in thousands of public venues where intercession will be made for America and its leadership.” This year’s theme is “Pray for America,” based on Matthew 12:21, which asserts, “In His Name the nations will put their hope.”

US will aid Israel if it strikes Iran

“The Senate Foreign Relations Committee has sent a very clear and enormously important message of solidarity with Israel against the Iranian nuclear threat—which endangers American, Israeli, and international security,” the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) said in a statement. “AIPAC urges the full Senate to act expeditiously to adopt the resolution.” Also on Tuesday, Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon warned in an Independence Day speech that the Iranian nuclear program could lead to “an arms race in the Middle East, and cause nuclear weapons to spread to terror organizations." Ya'alon said the situation with Iran "could be a nightmare for the Western world.”

Pentagon seeks $220 million for Israel’s Iron Dome

Israeli and US officials last year said the Iron Dome missile defense system intercepted about 400 rockets fired at Israel, or about 85 percent of those targeted by its radar and battle-management system as heading toward populated areas, during eight days of bloodshed between Israel and Hamas, which controls the Gaza strip. Iron Dome, made in Israel by Haifa-based Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd., is designed to intercept and destroy rockets capable of flying as far as 70 kilometers (44 miles). Israel has fielded its first five batteries of launchers and interceptors costing as much as $90,000 apiece, according to the nonpartisan Congressional Research Service.

Kerry: China must do more

Kerry: China must do more to resolve North Korean missile crisis

In recent days the North Koreans have readied missiles for launch and some speculated this would happen on Monday, when the nation celebrates the birth of founder Kim Il Sung, current leader Kim Jong Un’s grandfather. In an interview in Tokyo before flying back to the U.S. on Monday, Kerry said that if the missiles were not fired “that would mean perhaps we're turning a corner and there's a possibility of moving in a better direction.”

“Everybody understands the negative side of what happens if there is a shoot. And my hope is that we can move in a different direction here. China, I think, is serious about this,” he said. “They understand the instability this is creating.” Kerry said it was “very important” for the United States to make clear to North Korea that there would be “consequences for their action” and to reaffirm its security agreements with its allies in the region.

Israeli attack on Iran would trigger World War III

TEHRAN – The Iranian Ambassador to France, Ali Ahani, has said that in case Israel attacks Iran, there would be catastrophic consequences that can lead to third world war. In an interview with Geo-economy published on Thursday, Ahani said, “Israel is constantly talking about Iranian threat, and is making efforts to convince the United States and Europe to harden their policy towards Iran and our nuclear program.” He added that it would be a sheer madness by Israel to attack Iranian nuclear facilities, because Iran would not stay inactive.

U.S. tells N.Korea new missile launch would be "huge mistake"

(Reuters) - Secretary of State John Kerry warned North Korea on Friday it would be a "huge mistake" to test launch a medium-range missile and said the United States would never accept the reclusive country as a nuclear power. Addressing reporters after talks with South Korea's president and leaders of the 28,000-strong U.S. military contingent in the country, Kerry also said it was up to China, North Korea's sole major ally, to "put some teeth" into efforts to press Pyongyang to abandon its nuclear ambitions.

North Korea reportedly warns Japan it would target Tokyo first

North Korea reportedly warned Japan that Tokyo would be the first target if Pyongyang decides to play its nuclear card. The warning reportedly is in response to Tokyo's standing orders to destroy any missile heading toward Japan, according to Korean Central News Agency. Japan has deployed PAC-3 missile interceptor units around Tokyo to protect its capital and is taking North Korea’s rhetoric seriously. "We are doing all we can to protect the safety of our nation," chief Cabinet spokesman Yoshihide Suga said, though he and Ministry of Defense officials refused to confirm the reports about the naval alert, saying they do not want to "show their cards" to North Korea. Iran Launches 'Islamic Google Earth'

Tehran is planning to launch its own 3D mapping service, after accusing Google Earth of being a spying tool used by western agencies. Tehran is planning to launch its own 3D mapping service after Iranian authorities have long accused Google Earth of being a spying tool used by western agencies, Iran’s semi-official Mehr news agency reported. The Islamic Republic’s minister for information and communications technology, Mohammad Hassan Nami, announced this week that Iran is developing “Islamic Google Earth”, which is expected to be ready for use “within the next four months.”

Nami, a former deputy chairman of Iran's joint chiefs of staff and the armed forces, was appointed by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as the new technology minister in February. According to local media reports, Nami is also a PhD graduate in "country management" from North Korea's Kim Il-sung University. "We are doing our best to launch the Islamic Google Earth in the next four months as an Islamic republic's national portal, providing service on a global scale," he added. "On the surface, Google Earth is providing a service to users, but in reality security and intelligence organizations are behind it in order to obtain information from other countries," Nami said. The minister did not elaborate on Iran’s version of Google maps or what features would make it inherently “Islamic.”

American Arrested for Anti-Homosexual Statements

What does the Islamic world and Europe have in common? There are actually many similarities, but one is this: in neither place are Christians allowed to fully express their beliefs without fear of persecution.

As for Eurasia, its Ministry of Truth's latest handiwork is the arrest and punishment of an American street preacher who dared speak of sin in that land once known as Scotland. The victim is 47-year-old New Yorker Shawn Holes, who was on a UK tour when he was arrested in Glasgow after running afoul of UK hate-speech laws.

Writes Pink News: He said that while preaching, a number of gay couples stopped to listen and asked him about his views, which he said seemed like a "set-up". ... When asked about his views on homosexuality, Holes said: "Homosexuals are deserving of the wrath of God -- and so are all other sinners -- and they are going to a place called hell." For this Oldspeak transgression, Holes' arrest was followed by the imposition of a £1,000 fine, which is a harsher penalty than even some Britons who commit violent crimes must endure.

"Mr Holes is obviously homophobic and should not be insulting people with his anti-gay tirades. He should be challenged and people should protest against his intolerance. However, in a democratic, free society it is wrong to prosecute him. Criminalisation is not appropriate. The price of freedom of speech is that we sometimes have to put up with opinions that are objectionable and offensive. Just as people should have the right to criticise religion, people of faith should have the right to criticise homosexuality. Only incitements to violence should be illegal. Mr Holes’s £1,000 fine is totally disproportionate. Even people who commit robberies and violent assaults sometimes get off with lighter penalties. This prosecution was heavy-handed and an inappropriate use of the law." http://blog.echurchwebsites.org.uk/2010/03/30/street-preacher-shawn-holes-fined-1000-homophobia/

What Iran has learned from the Korean crisis

While it remains unclear how serious is the North Korean threat of war, and how far its missiles can reach, the example set by Pyongyang is spurring Tehran to persevere with its own nuclear program.

While it remains unclear how serious is the North Korean threat of war, and how far its missiles can reach, the example set by Pyongyang is spurring Tehran to persevere with its own nuclear program. Western intelligence services know too little, but there is one way to assess this – comparing what is known of the Korean capabilities with the information there is on Iran's ballistic missiles. For over two decades the two countries have been cooperating on rocket development and sharing data gained in both successful and failed test-launches. Iran is watching closely as the escalation in the Korean peninsula enfolds. Whether or not a missile is launched this time, they have a lot to learn from these events – how the American administration treats a rogue nation equipped with a nuclear weapon.

N. Korea and China prepare for attacks againt U.S.

North Korea has moved a missile with "considerable range" to its east coast, South Korea said Thursday as Russia warned that Pyongyang's decision to pursue a nuclear program “radically complicates” the prospect of resuming international talks. South Korean Defense Minister Kim Kwan-jin told lawmakers the moved missile has "considerable range" but not enough to hit the U.S. mainland, according to The Associated Press. It came hours after North Korea's military warned that it has been authorized to attack the U.S. using "smaller, lighter and diversified" nuclear weapons -- the latest in a string of war cries against America in recent weeks.

"The moment of explosion is approaching fast,” the military statement said.  Russia joined the ranks of countries voicing concern at the escalating crisis on the Korea peninsula, saying the North's disregard for U.N. restrictions was unacceptable. The U.S. is sending an advanced anti-ballistic missile system to Guam to protect American military sites, officials said Wednesday. The Terminal High-Altitude Area Defense system is expected to arrive at the U.S. territory in the Pacific within two weeks.

China continued moving tanks and armored vehicles and flying flights near North Korea this week as part of a military buildup in the northeastern part of the country that U.S. officials say is related to the crisis with North Korea. The Obama administration, meanwhile, sought to play down the Chinese military buildup along the border with Beijing’s fraternal communist ally despite the growing danger of conflict following unprecedented threats by Pyongyang to attack the United States and South Korea with nuclear weapons. According to U.S. officials with access to intelligence reports, both intelligence and Internet reports from the region over the past week revealed the modest military movements in the border region that began in mid-March and are continuing. The buildup appears linked to North Korea’s March 30 announcement that it is in a “state of war” with South Korea after the United Nations imposed a new round of sanctions following the North’s Feb. 12 nuclear test and because of ongoing large-scale joint U.S.-South Korea military exercises. The People’s Liberation Army (PLA) troop and tank movements were reported in Daqing, located in northeastern Heilongjiang Province, and in the border city of Shenyang, in Liaoning Province.

The sixth trumpet, second woe sounds. . With the blast of the sixth trumpet will come the death of another one billion people or one-third of the remaining world population. For God will call for the release of the four demonic angels, who have been prepared for this very moment, to sweep from the East to the West. The size of this army will number 200 million. No one will be able to stop their military advancement. This will begin 13 months of death and destruction that will eventually climax at the Battle of Armageddon. Who are these demonic leaders? Are they literal or symbolic demons! I believe that these demons are literal military leaders, most assuredly alive today, who will form an alliance with each other, and begin a march toward the Middle East, overthrowing governments and peoples as they go. It’s likely that China will be the driving force behind this military action. They are the only country in the world that could boast a standing army of this magnitude. Although, I do see Korea (North and South Korea will undoubtedly be unified at this time), Japan, and one other country included in this powerful coalition.http://www.calvaryprophecy.com/6thtrump.html

Al Qaeda strike alert

South Israel on alert for multiple al Qaeda strike. Iron Dome posted

Produced by Israeli-based Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, Iron Dome is meant to shoot down rockets and artillery shells with ranges of up to 70 kilometres and has been operational since 2011. Officials claim it has a roughly 80 percent success rate.

Incoming intelligence of All Qaeda groups in the Sinai Peninsula winding up preparations for a multiple attack on an Israeli location, such as Eilat, and a US military target in the Negev, has put southern Israel and US forces posted there on high terror alert. This is reported by DEBKAfile’s military sources. The Israeli high command decided to treat the five Qassam rockets fired at Shear Hanegev Wednesday, April 3, which were claimed by the Al Qaeda-affiliated Salafist “Jihad Brigades in Jerusalem.” as the opening salvo for this coordinated attack. An Iron Dome battery was accordingly moved Thursday to the Israeli-Egyptian border north of the southern port of Eilat and additional IDF strength directed to the South. Heavy sandstorms in the region have sharply reduced visibility for troop movements and provided excellent cover for terrorist infiltration. see more: http://www.debka.com/article/22871/South-Israel-on-alert-for-multiple-al-Qaeda-strike-Iron-Dome-posted

And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt. (Revelation 9:13-19)

Syria sending militias to Iran for training

Activists say Assad's government is sending guerrilla fighters to train at secret base in Iran to bolster its armed forces.

HOMS PROVINCE, Syria - The Syrian government is sending members of its irregular militias for guerrilla combat training at a secret base in Iran, in a move to bolster its armed forces drained by two years of fighting and defections, fighters and activists said.

 FULL STORY http://www.jpost.com/Middle-East/Syrian-regime-sending-militias-to-Iran-for-training-308660

The discreet program has been described as an open secret in some areas loyal to Syrian President Bashar Assad, who is trying to crush a revolt against his family's four-decade hold on power. A Syrian government security source, who declined to be named, denied that Syria was sending fighters to Iran. "We train our own special forces for this type of combat," he said. "Since 2006 we have had units trained in guerrilla warfare, why would we need to send people to Iran?"

But if the reports by Syrian fighters are true, the move to train combatants in Iran suggests that their country's increasingly regionalized conflict has grown well beyond - and could even outlast - a battle for power between Assad's circle and the opposition. The fighters also appear to come largely from minority groups that have supported Assad against the mostly Sunni Muslim-led uprising. Such a move could exacerbate the dangerous sectarian dimensions of a conflict that has turned into a civil war that has cost the lives of more than 70,000 people.

UN Shuns pro Jew Canada

Canada paid the price yesterday for its principled foreign policy stance, especially for its support of Israel, when it lost its bid to Portugal for a non-permanent seat on the powerful United Nations Security Council. In an indication as to how much the world has changed, it was the first time since the world body’s inception in 1945 that Canada had not won a Security Council seat after having been elected in every previous decade.

To the chagrin of the UN’s petty tyrants and dictators, the Conservative government of Prime Minister Stephen Harper, in power since 2006, is a strong, unabashed supporter of Israel. And to his credit, Harper steadfastly refused to “water down” his government’s foreign policy direction to curry their favour during Canada’s campaign to secure a seat. The Conservatives even announced the day before the vote that it was strengthening its trading relationship with Israel, a move that would have displeased the UN’s Arab-Muslim block. For years, these countries have tried to diplomatically isolate Israel, passing numerous motions against the Jewish state.

“The principles that underlie the policy of foreign affairs, freedom, democracy, human rights and common law, are the foundation of each of these decisions. Some would say that because of our attachment to these values, we lost the seat. If that is the case, so be it,” said a defiant Canadian foreign minister, Lawrence Cannon, after yesterday’s defeat

...the left/liberal media and politicians in Canada are calling the UN defeat “an embarrassment” and “a loss of face”, many Canadians are pleased with the vote result. They view the UN as a morally bankrupt organization that manifests its internal corruption by having Libya as head of its human rights panel. Containing tyrants whose only goals are to destroy Israel and to suck as much money out of the West as possible so that they can then steal on a larger scale than they are already doing in their own countries, such Canadians view this week’s rejection by the UN as a badge of honor. They believe it is time for Canada to reduce its economic and political investment and withdraw from this corrupt organization that regards itself as the world’s unelected socialist government and help form a league for democratic countries only.

But until then, unusual for governments in this day and age, Canadians will continue to be served by a foreign policy of unbending moral convictions, as expressed by Lawrence Cannon:

“We will not back down from our principles that form the basis of our great country and we will continue to pursue them on the international stage.”

UN Assembly approves first-ever Arms Trade Treaty

English.news.cn 2013-04-03 06:16:09

April 2 (Xinhua) -- The UN General Assembly by 154-3, with 23 abstentions, on Tuesday passed the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) to limit for the first time international conventional weapons commerce, which was estimated at up to 70 billion U.S. dollars annually.

"This is a victory for the world's people," said UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in a statement issued while traveling in Europe. "The ATT will make it more difficult for deadly weapons to be diverted into the illicit market and it will help to keep warlords, pirates, terrorists, criminals and their like from acquiring deadly arms."

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), Iran and Syria voted against the measure. Cuba, India, Myanmar, Nicaragua, Russia, China, Saudi Arabia and Sudan were among the abstaining states. Armenia, Dominican Republic, Venezuela and Vietnam were among non-voters.

It was only late Thursday night the ATT Final Conference failed to reach consensus on a treaty text -- objected to by DPRK, Iran and Syria -- when Costa Rica said it was moving for a vote on it as a resolution in the 193-member General Assembly.
